what is meant by, newbie is, ive been referred as,, a newbie,,,in these threads...I have found it quite "out of the ordinary" to have to place an order, for something that was only being PLANNED "to be built". I'll cut to the chase...

received build date, vin # , week of feb 6, 2023

As earlier posted by self, the wait may have killed my interests

I love what i bought!
tho a bit higher priced,
just so much more value

just on a principle, even tho
they are my local, friendly ford dealer
if i decide to turn the mav back to them ,,,

So I did order the Maverick but how do you know if and when you’re in line on a list. I did ask the ford guy who I bought it from what is my number. He replied with P456. I don’t have any idea what that is. I put $1000 down in Sep 2022.

call the Ford customer service line. Climb the phone tree until you get to Maverick, “Okay,you’re calling about your truck” etc.
Give them your
order code
Sales code
Email address

they’ll give you a status.
You may not like the status.
Eventually, you’ll get a truck.
Maybe.
I got one after 1 yr and 17 days, but YMMV

is there a list,? well that dosnt sound right, on ford part! but my dealer put in his order for mav just before mine,,he received his build date 3 weeks ago,,. i really never heard of, numbering,,maybe tho? ,, and i will stand with " when i see delivery, ill believe

So I just called Ford hotline and it was funny. My phone number was associated with somebody else, but I knew that it was because I’ve gotten so many phone calls after I receive this phone number. The lady on the phone said that they did receive my order and but there is no build date on it so I appreciate you letting me know about to call that because I’ve been just waiting. I pray it’s soon. The lady on the phone mentioned if you wanna call every Monday and Friday they have updates available.
