I too was a long-time lurker and now a new member. Over a year ago, I was driving a '18 Ram 1500 CC. Loved the truck, but it was rwd, and a little large/overkill for city use. Thus, on 12/17/21, I ordered an XLT Maverick Lux, AWD, A51, rear slider, both sets of mats, 4K tow, the optional offroad wheels/tires (Falkens), and (almost) full-sized spare. I started reading about orders, and didn't think I would ever get mine. I found a new Edge AWD on a local lot last Feb, and traded my Ram for it. The Edge was real nice, with 12" screen, Sync 4A wireless Carplay, 360, push-button start, etc. Also, the Edge can hold a lot more covered cargo than a Maverick (under tonneau cover). (We haul kids back-n-forth to college). I was content with my Edge -- until I rebuilt my deck this summer. It was difficult hauling 10' boards back and forth. I started getting Maverick build emails in September, and got excited again. It was actually built in November, and I picket it up this Monday (360 days after ordering). They gave me a fair trade for my Edge.
I'm really liking the Maverick so far, and I've already hauled some lumber from HD. I have to say though, the Edge (same powertrain) was a lot more quiet, and the seats were more comfortable. I also miss the infotainment center.
