Weather or not I would buy this depends on the execution: will it color match?, or at least coordinate, will it stay put and not rapidly deteriorate or come loose?, at the same time I don't want it to permanently leave scarring if removed. All this is a tall order, I know. Especially at a price in which I would buy it.
This is also a concern for most Mav owners.

My wife had mobility issues and I would b*tch at her to stop kicking the GD door open with her foot. Then she died at 59 and I wouldn't care if she were here if she kicked the GD door off the hinges. It is just a vehicle, your wife is irreplaceable.
First, sorry for your loss, would share similar feelings if mine, my dear darling, passes. Very true about that door. However if I can do something about it now would like to, cause I want her to have smooth, easy egress out of truck, kick it.
You all love your wives very much. Wife is irreplaceable! My grandparents are also elderly in their 70s. When they sit on my car and the door needsto open it, I don't mind if my car door gets damaged!

These would be amazing. I have a disWhen they arrive at Amazon, we will also notify you in the forum as soon as possible and offer certain discounts.ability and every time I get out of the car I kick the door with the swing of my leg out the door. Every vehicle door I get out of ends up scuffed and scratched. I would love to test these and will be first in line to buy them when they arrive on Amazon.

The kid only knows how to use that section of the door to push it open. So yes; very much needed on all doors (except mine... cause I'm careful), but OCD says on all doors.

Wife and kid also cross their legs in the front seat so the glove box gets scratched as well....
For people with OCD, they must be careful when opening the door to prevent scratches.

Yes I definitely see this to be very useful, I am constantly hitting that area of the door with my foot when I get out of my truck.
Thank you for your feedback.

Yes. My size 13 6E work shoes almost look like clown shoes.

PROPER ADHESIVE is key here.

Don't make them if you cheap out on adhesive and they don't stay on.
We will also provide additional adhesive aids and provide detailed instructions on how to use them in the manual

I'm sorry but what are the white dots on the door trim?
White dots are used to test the location. For some products that are being developed, we will test the locations to coordinate with the development of the mold.

Perhaps do them in more of a charcoal grey finish.... slightly round the corners on the back piece... stuff will catch those sharp corners.

I mean most cars had carpet on the lower door panels decades ago... so this fabric material you are using seems like a good way to go..

Absolulety... that section looks so beatup and everything and everyone seems to hit it the bottom part of it.. Just a few inches of height for the lower section of it would be enough... A charcoal grey here too...

I have a charcoal grey dash pad (yeah I know y'all hate em... but kind of common for those of us in the desert).. So, I'd like tying it in...
What you said makes sense. I will provide feedback to the R&D personnel regarding the pointed section in the latter part.

Hopefully they will also make covers for the bed top rails and the top of the tailgate to keep it from getting scratched up when hauling something. If only Ford had thought to put something up there to protect it. 😜
