Ok so I have an allocation to order a new ranger raptor.
I was second one at the dealer.
so yesterday dealer contacted me and said the first guy backed out as he ordered the same truck from multiple dealers. He took the first one that showed up.
First let me start with that guy is a as$ hole.
Because of him guys like me are waiting long periods of time to get the truck we want. It’s a two week difference for him on deliveries of the trucks. So now more than one dealer is stuck with a build for him and not able to order higher margin ones or customer orders. I hope they got a decent fee for this.
Anyway his build is an ok color but has some dumb stuff on it. Like graphics, which are expensive.
So I’m leaning towards waiting to order mine and being 100 percent happy, or paying for the stickers and keypad and taking them off.
At least a min that guy deserves a kick to the crotch.
As of now I’m thinking I’m gonna hold on to my allocation and order it the way I want. It’s a lot of money to not get exactly what you want.
