Hey everyone, new owner here with my '25 Lariat BAP in Space White. Coming from a 23 Bronco, I loved that thing by 13 MPG was absolutely killing me as my miles have skyrocketed over the last year or so. Couldn't bring myself to get the Hybrid due to the CVT, but at a current 22.5 MPG I'll take the almost 10 MPG gain and run with it! First mod I'm considering is the rear Lobo springs to level it out.

This ain't your grandfathers CVT......eCVT has no belt but it does take a bit of an adjustment to get used to. I previously had a Bronco Black Diamond and an Explorer Timberline and the fuel economy gains I got made those but a distant memory....

PS: Welcome aboard!!

Welcome Drew, your signature says you have an Ecoboost. That should have the 8 speed transmission. That is a nice looking rig.

Thanks Scotty. I test drove a '24 and a '26 Hybrid and just couldn't get on board. To each their own, but the CVT just ain't for me. Yeah, I had a Outer Banks Sasquatch, can't say it'll be a distant memory though. The wife and I are already talking about a used 2-door for a replacement in the near future. Just needed something better as a daily.

I do miss the rugged "go anywhere" attitude my Black Diamond gave me, but the chilling effect on my wallet was real....lol. I too may consider a used 2 door, but I also have two Mustangs (1983 GLX and 2006 GT, both convertibles) that like being in the garage all winter....lol.

Oh no Drew! Your 1st post and you start with the EB vs Hybrid opinion :teehee:
it’s like asking Mom who her favorite son is (it was me I’m sure). Welcome to MTC. Those Mavs are brothers and both are a great choice (now I’m trying to settle this like dad).

Hello and welcome to MTC. Congratulations on your new Maverick. Besides better fuel economy it should be a lot easier to enter, exit. Besides you can't beat having a truck with a bed for hauling especially sand, gravel etc Thanks for adding the picture. Hope you enjoy your new truck. Hope the mileage improves as the engine breaks in also going from winter to summer fuel along with warmer temperatures. Nice looking Maverick.

cool vehicle! Welcome! Always great to see new Maverick owners joining in. These trucks have been getting a lot of attention lately for good reason. Getting familiar with everything can feel a bit like browsing malwarebytes reviews, just learning what works best. What made you choose the Maverick? Looking forward to seeing your setup. Glad you’re here.
