I thought it was great to see a Mav sold in Argentina. May 1st the Maverick is also sold in Curacao. So I guess the Maverick is expanding its customer base.
The attention I was getting with only 1 of 3 Mavericks on the island was fun.
The dealer may now have parts!

I think these Mavericks would be a great choice for all these smaller islands that have to import all their fuel...and I can imagine the price of it...yikes!

For example, we stopped in and visited American Samoa (among several other islands including New Zealand), and while we were out and about, all I saw was full size trucks or mid-size trucks (mainly F 150s in Samoa) lumbering around at slow speeds.

My wife and I kept on saying to each other that the Maverick was much better suited for these narrow and winding slow speed roads!

Most of the trucks we saw were carrying a full load of atmosphere or a couple of guys in the back...at hybrid Maverick best-fuel-mileage-speeds.

The Maverick(either gas or hybrid) would be far superior then what they are using and at a far lower price point, and cheaper to run once on the island.

Win-win for the average owner and keeps more coin on their pocket. Just gotta get it to them.

Just my 2-cents,

Andy

We spent a lot of time figuring out what vehicle we needed and the Ford Hybrid in this case simply outshines all those foreign wanna-bee’s that often get posted on MTC. Even worth the boat trip over. Petrol just passed $5/gal May 1st. It is the same at every gas station and no credit cards allowed so prices aren’t bad for an island.
