Hi all - I've been a long time lurker and first time poster. I ordered a hybrid maverick (XLT, lux package)a year ago and am still waiting. Anyone else still waiting?

I actually ordered another one from a second dealership trying to hedge my bets, but still no confirmation.

That said, I'm excited to get my first new car, ever. I've always driven 30 year old cars and happy for something reliable and with utility!

So what's wild, is after this discussion, I updated my order from XLT to Lariat and had it schedule today! Build date is 9/2. Hooray!

Congratulations and Welcome!! That's awesome. Think you'll love the lariat. Been really please with mine. Not 100% sure, but it seems like i read a post not long ago from one of the forum members that works at a ford dealership saying lariats and tremors get built sooner now than others. No idea why, guess profit margins for ford?

Its amazing how quickly it scheduled. I think you're right, I went from waiting a year for an XLT to waiting a week (for scheduling) for a lariat. Feelin' lucky!

I ordered my Lariat at the end of June. The order was delayed a couple days because the person that does the ordering at the dealership was out of the office, so I thought that would delay things more, but I just got an email today that my Lariat is being built the week of 09/02 as well. I already bought some accessories this week due to Amazon Prime Week that just arrived yesterday, so I'm excited like you!

Stoked for you! Hoping no further delays, and that we get our trucks and can enjoy them! I'm about to shop for some accessories too, so I have them when the truck lands. Plenty of time to read reviews and figure out what I want too.

Have you received an update on your build? I just checked as my build week was this past week and I see it was built on Friday, 09/06. Now, waiting to see how long it will take to say shipped.

Hey there, yeah mine went "into production" the friday before the week it was scheduled to be built. And now it says Shipped, already. It says delivery between 10/10 and 10/20 though. It seems to be on an expedited schedule, so hoping it gets here sooner rather than later.
