Hi all - I've been a long time lurker and first time poster. I ordered a hybrid maverick (XLT, lux package)a year ago and am still waiting. Anyone else still waiting?

I actually ordered another one from a second dealership trying to hedge my bets, but still no confirmation.

That said, I'm excited to get my first new car, ever. I've always driven 30 year old cars and happy for something reliable and with utility!

Waiting one year for your first new car must be like a kid waiting for Christmas! Hope it comes soon. I just ordered a Lariat EcoBoost and I hear they may build out faster because less shortages on parts.

No offense but can the order be that special? I'm sure if you search you can find one on a local dealer's lot.

I had no problem finding the exact XLT with luxury package that I would have ordered on a handful dealers lots of the exact color I wanted as well.

Believe me, I check the dealer sites every day! I'll make it happen if someone can find me one in Washington with lux package and sunroof in cactus grey. The sunroof seems to be the clincher.

Gotcha yeah that's one thing I wouldn't be interested in due to so many leak issues with the sunroofs on Fords. Plus I just never used them on 2 vehicles I had that had 1. I would see how that would be hard to find on the XLT as well.

What's your zip code, I'll take a look on build a new one at Ford.com.

I've not saw any posts here on the Maverick sunroof issues. More when I was on the explorer and f150 forums. Then vent tubes get clogged up, not allowing water to drain through the tubing. Which then causes a interior leak normally.

So your looking for a 24' XLT w/Luxury package in catus grey, 2.5 hybrid, with sunroof?

Here's 2, just different colors. Both have 2.5 hybrid, xlt's w/ lux pack., and moonroof.

Welcome! This was my first new car as well. Bought a 23 XLTremor in Hot Pepper Red. It has been awesome. Love the interior layout, love how it fits everywhere, and love how it looks. You will too!

Thanks for all of the welcoming messages! This thread has actually made me change my mind, dropping the moon roof from my order and leveling up to the Lariat. I'm also looking at available stock!

So what's wild, is after this discussion, I updated my order from XLT to Lariat and had it schedule today! Build date is 9/2. Hooray!
