Just got this last weekend from a used car dealer, New with 329 miles. They got it at Auction. Very strange story I think. But it had all the options I wanted.

The fact that you even found one used means, you need to go out and buy a lottery ticket.

Just found out the story on it. Located the dealer where it was ordered from. Some guy ordered it, drove it from East Texas to Dallas and sold it to an auto auction for a profit. A Toyota dealer in Dallas bought it and put it in their used car lot. Then I bought it. Strange story but confirmed by the original dealer. He was nice enough to send me a copy of the window sticker though.

That's quite a chain of buying and selling. If I understand this:
  • Dealer sold it to the first owner, who pays all the TTL, fees, etc.
  • First owner sold it to an auction house for a profit.
  • Auction house sold it to Toyota dealer, presumably for a profit.
  • Toyota dealer sold it to you, presumably for a profit.
Even if the first owner got a decent deal, that's an awful lot of profit stacked on top of the initial cost. It's been sold four times with each seller presumably making a bit of money on the deal.

Did you end up paying a lot more than the first owner did? All in all, do you think you ended up getting a decent deal?
