I've done a search, but all i can find is where people upgraded and added a sub. I just got new Infinity Reference door speakers. I haven't installed them yet, as I'm waiting for sound deadening material to arrive. For now, I'm only doing the doors, but may eventually do rear and add a sub. In the meantime, would it be worth setting the EQ to flat with just the new door speakers?

IMHO it does not make sense to mess with the Forscan EQ setting unless you are adding a DSP or some other corrective tone control equipment. The OEM equalization is compensating for not only the cheap Ford speakers, but also the lackluster acoustics and airspace the stock speaker mounts provide. In other words - for now, your new Infinitys will probably sound better just leaving the system EQ the way it is.

The Forscan tweaks are obviously reversible, so you can always try it and see if you like it.
