NEW BUILD WITH RECALLS?

Hello everyone, just got an email from ford today that my xl hybrid rolled of the line today and being prepared for shipping yay! My question is, will there be any recalls connected to the 2024 hybrid that will be passed on to my truck or will all the updates and fixes be included in my truck. May be a silly question but it just came to mind. Thanks

If the recall has already been announce then the dealer cannot deliver it to you until it has been fixed. Inevitably there will be future recalls as problems are found.

thank you, just got off a chat with Ford and was told there were not any recalls associated with my vin#. but yes, I do anticipate future ones, just hope they are minor.

Mine was a mid Feb build and I only have the last BCM recall for the taillights not illuminating once in a while to do (#24S27 - getting it done in a couple of weeks). Depending on when a recall fix is finalized it would be implemented before/ during build, possibly before shipping or at the dealer during final prep for pickup.

I just received two new recalls on my 2023 hybrid XLT (total 8 now) after resolving 6 about 4/5 months ago. TBH we know more about recalls than dealer. When I asked about the recalls in 2023 the salesman didn’t know (or didn’t care to get the sale). Expect recalls on these earlier version Mavs. Luck of draw and new models. The forums here is a great way to be informed. Even if they take care of current ones there are new ones popping up of which there are no solutions yet. That being said, I still love my Mav.
