Except for the tailgate cap, it looks like all his hardware can be reused. Complete units were all anywhere from $1100-$1600 +. But they are out there; saw one on eBay.

yeah, looks like the right side latch rod is prob bent, the release handle assy looks tweaked add paint and bed liner.

Yep, the good ‘Ol drop the tailgate, and after a few beers, you forget it is down and back tight into a tree

Is this a legit website? My tailgate still works and and everything so I wonder if I can use the same hardware and just buy the top plastic cover.

sure you can, feel free to hammer on it a bit, your truck. a buddy dropped a 10' log on my gate years ago and I straightened it as best I could, and went back to cutting and hauling firewood to heat my home.
in a few years they will be cheaper

I remember my old boss back in the 60s say anything can be fixed, I was kid learning the trade, we had men from all over the world they couldn't believe we were changing parts that they could fix. In their country labor was cheap and parts were imposable to get. To keep this short, It has to be replaced and you should go to a reputable repair shop with the proper equipment and skilled workers.
