My Turn- CV Axle replacement

Went to the dealer this morning. They immediately agreed that both axles needed to be replace. Got me a loaner car. Truck will be Done Tuesday the latest. No charge to me, not even the rental!

Update-
Dealer called me this afternoon. The parts came in this morning. I might be able to pick up my truck this afternoon, tomorrow morning the latest!

Getting my ‘22 Hubrid done now. I was lucky since I have about 76k on it. Started noticing an issue about one month ago and had gotten progressively worse. Dealer already called as said both axles replaced under 25N09 and they are doing some recall work as well.

Well, the Dealer Villa Ford of Orange got it done in one day! They put the parts on order after verifying the need, and they arrived at 12 noon. By 4:30pm I was good to go. First thing I noticed was the steering and tire traction "grip" is much more solid now! The loaner they provided was a 2025 XL FWD hybrid. I'm not a fan of the interior. The seats poked me my wife in our thighs. The seats were made of a very cheap black fabric. No blue or orange accents. I did like the larger screen. It was nice to be able to play with it before I decide to drop $1,000 to upgrade mine. My 2023 XLT interior has the blue jeans look which I like even more now, the orange accents, heated leather steering wheel, power adjust drivers seat, both seats are heated, the sunroof, interior 12v plug in along with extra usb-c ports. This rental truck was the cheapest model. Glad I went ahead and got the additional perks when I bought mine.

I'm going to give 5 stars to Villa Ford of Orange. Carlos the service manager was busy with all 11 of us who showed up and kept us informed on the progress while we waited. The torque the electric motor delivers from 0-40 is amazing. And, punching it to pass people on the freeway is back to normal. I'm glad to have my truck back.

I don't know about you folks, but even with all the CV axle issues, the "sleep" battery messages and the software updates, I still like the Maverick. Ford set the mold for the other car companies. A truck, that can seat four, pick up home project stuff from HomeDepot or Lowes, tow a small camper or boat, and deliver 40mpg!

Received my truck back with two new CV axles covered under the 25N09 CSB . I also had the brakes bled ( I do not have a Forscan tool) and also had them replace the radiator fluid.

The truck feels tighter and I did not realize how bad the faulty axles were.
