My new maverick order is "smoking"

After church this past Sunday I went to a nearby convenience store. The clerk was loading the cigarette bins and I was amazed to see her opening a carton of "Mavericks". I asked her for the carton package and she gave it to me with a bit of a strange look. I told my wife it was a good omen and this could be my week. She said, "Oh, right!"

For those who have not seen this American Made Product there is a picture below. About 30 minutes ago, I called Ford and got a VIN 774XX for my Lariat with 360, invertor, spare tire, and hitch. No Lux. Ordered November 23rd.

I may just lightly attach the logo to the Maverick dash of a month or two!!

Just an update. You can see my enthusiasm on my first message on April 14th. I was excited. Since then, I have had my Build Week moved back three times. My build week is now June 13th, a full two months after receiving the VIN. I am still enthusiastic about the Maverick, just not the process. Just hanging on hanging on.

Are planning any mods to your new "Maverick": (cellophane) wrap, cigarette lighter socket, vinyl letter stickers on the back etc?

Don't feel bad, my original build date was week of 5/9, then moved to week of 5/16, then moved to week of 5/23, then moved to week of 5/30 & now I have a build date of June 8th. Ordered 7/26 Lariat Hybrid, Rapid Red, First Edition, Luxury Pkg, & CoPilot 360. Hoping June 8th sticks!!!

The mark up by the scalpers, AKA Dealers, may put the tickets out of our price range anyway!!!

I ordered mine I believe on January 8th, and received it on April 23rd. Base XL model with full size spare and the inverter for the back was all i was able to afford and really its all i needed. I plan to lift it 2 inches using the kit from rough country. To make it look like a tiny maverick raptor kinda thing. Congrats on getting yours and I hope we some how some way cross paths so we can share the experiences of this cool truck we all seem to love.
