My "Build Date" was moved out by 1 week....

I was tentatively scheduled for a build date of 10/25/2021, but I just received an email at 11:47pm Friday night that I am now scheduled for the Nov. 1st build date. One "bright spot" is that the Icon button was moved to "scheduled for production" from "Ordered confirmed".

I'll take any Ford crumbs I can get to keep hope alive that I will be driving my truck before Dec 31st!

It seems like Ford is pushing build dates back a week due to the planned 2 day shutdown this week. My build was moved from 11/22 to 11/29. At least it will be built during a full week and not a half week before a holiday with everyone wanting to go home and have a party.

The date is only the build week. Don't know exactly what day during the week it will actually be yet.

You know Mexico doesn’t celebrate thanksgiving like we do. They do celebrate revolution day, very similar but it takes place the first Monday after the 20th of November. So you should still be happy extra hungover and stuffed Mexicans aren’t building your truck that week.

My dealer emailed me on 10/5 that my Hybrid build date was moved from 11/8 to 11/15.

Just now on 10/10 at 9:58 PM CDT I received an email from Ford stating that my build date was changed to 11/15.

Looks like the problems others here have said about Ford email communications were true.

Almost exact same for me but again, at least they are not saying our orders are on hold for unknown time.

Just got similar Ford email myself....

MavXL Hybrid ... Cactus Grey; basic 100A pkg w/ CoPilot360+400W inverter outlet,only options:
- ordered confirmed Fri 8/20
- had received the orig build date scheduling week of Nov 1st
- now build date changed to be 'built week of Nov 8'

My order was placed on 06/17 and my original scheduling notice was on 09/30 for a 11/22 build date and was changed on 10/10 to a 11/29 build date.

I didn't know what they called it only that they had a "holiday" during that week.

Better than my dealer, they don't even know I have the VIN and a build date scheduled, let alone having it delayed.
