So is this legit about getting access to X plan by joining The Mustang Club? I was at Ford dealer today getting oil changed. He priced out a Maverick for me at MSRP. Said they would accept X plan if I had access to it.

Yes it is "legit". Pay $35 and be a member for at least 90 days prior to your purchase. It's not a huge savings, but it is a small saving from MSRP and can really help some in higher "dealer fee" areas as it limits those fees.

If you happen to already own at least 100 shares of F stock for at least 6 months you can also get X-plan.

I joined with the Intention of using x plan. After contacting Chapman Ford for a quote, and factoring in travel costs, it’s still worth it to me to do a fly and drive for my Maverick delivery
