Might be a bit late to this thread but if it helps the poster I live in Redding,CA. Just hitting June and we've already had a week of 100+ degree weather, july will bring 110. Not unheard of to have 100+ for a month straight. I think the record is like 35 days. Long story short, you'll be fine. Everyone talking about batteries isn't wrong but I've also had used vehicles with original batteries in them lasting 10 years. Luck of the draw I imagine. My interiors have held up without any extra protection whatsoever, though I would recommend a good tint.

If you have ever been to Phoenix you may notice that there is NO traffic, cars just can’t take the heat.

Most people walk or maybe ride a bike

If you believe any of the above you may need to have your head examined.

I have lived in Phoenix all my life. Your truck will be just fine! most of the advise on previous threads is true and/or good advise. (except for the first 2 sentences of post #32)
