Missing GVR Sticker in Door Pillar

Took delivery of our Truck on Christmas eve. Checking things out closer on Christmas day, I noticed a sticker appeared to have been removed. Took it to my dealer on the 26th and asked my sales guy about it. Typical response, I don't know we wouldn't have removed it. Seemed really disinterested in it. I finally got my co-worker to take a picture of his 24' and that verified what I thought, missing/removed sticker. Anybody else experience this?

Wondering if I should reach out to dealer or just go straight to Ford to resolve this issue. We love the truck, but if it left the factory that way, it's a little concerning. If anybody from Ford reads this, please reach out.

It would be illegal to sell you the vehicle without that sticker - of course you took delivery and now you can't prove you didn't remove it

Ah ha!!!!!! So I am no longer alone in this mystery. I also received my truck with the missing sticker. It took me numerous follow up phone calls and trips to the dealer to finally get my replacement sticker 6 months later. Everyone was tight lipped about why this would happen but I am sure it isnt a good thing. I just picture the truck moving down the assembly line and during final testing it didnt pass for some reason so they yank it off the line......then maybe they do the necessary repairs and approve it to be sent out. Please let me know if you find out why this happened. Fyi mine is a 2023 XL

Ford dealer has ability to obtain replacement sticker. Best course of action have your dealer correct this missing sticker.

I think most people wouldn't think they have to inspect a brand new vehicle to that level. I brought it up to the salesman on day two of ownership. But point taken.

Update to missing sticker.

I went to my local dealer where I purchased the truck, showed them pictures of the missing sticker and one of the sticker from my co-workers 24' and the placed an order for the replacement sticker immediately.

I do plan to follow up with Ford on how this was allowed to happen though.

Hopefully you will get your sticker a lot faster than I got mine. I would give my right arm to know why the stickers are removed. Initially I thought mine was pulled from the line to have recalls done because it was right at the time where the engine fire issue was happening.
