More process on the stereo. Put some sound deadener underneath the seat bin and sub box.

Thanks! It’s not hooked up yet. Still need to do the rear speakers, run the power and the loopback harness. Hoping in the next couple weeks to have it all done. Between work and kids sports I have limited time to work on it

Making some more process on the stereo. Got the loopback harness ran and the amp power wire. I had to modify the loopback harness with longer wires to run into my crossovers. For anyone not familiar with what the loopback harness does. It’s two 9 wire conductor speed wire that comes with a t harness that tires into the the radio harness. They both run from the radio to back behind the rear seats where my amp rack is. The one side taps into the speaker wires for the signal and brings that back to my lc7i and the other side goes from the amp and brings the amped speaker signal back to the factory speakers. The amped side I had to cut and extend the wire to tie into the amped side and door speaker side of my crossover. For the tweet I will just run my own wire once I put them into the factory location.

For the power wore someone had mentioned using a firewall bushing to keep down on the noise from the engine insurers of just putting a hole there.

Also got the app rack all wired up

All that’s left is mounting the tweeters, running the wire for them to the crossovers and mounting to inline fuse by the battery but I’m trying to figure out how I want to mount that.

Same lol.. it’s been a long build. Finally getting some free time to try and get it done.

Made a bracket for the amp inline fuse. Just have to get some wire loom.

Now all I have to do is figure out how to get the tweeters installed in the factory location and then I can finally listen to this system

Slow process is better then no process I guess lol. Finally got around to getting the amp rack done. Might add one more brace to the left side and still have to sound deaden behind it but just wanted to mount it to see what it looked like. Next up is running the power, loopback harness and install speakers. Here’s some pics of the amp rack.

This is a genius idea! Is that aluminum off the shelf or did you bend and cut it yourself?

Thanks! It was a piece of straight aluminum I bought at Lowe’s that I bent and tapped holes in.

Bought a stitched steering wheel cover off aliexpress for $11.50 and installed it this past weekend. It was my first time doing one and it wasn’t too bad.
