I put a set of CC2's on my wife's 24 Telluride last fall and they have been great with all the snow we got this winter. I put BFG KO2's on my Mav a few years ago and they have been a great tire... except the older they get, the louder they have become on the highway. I will opt for the CC3 next fall.
Michelin has not given a USA release date for the CrossClimate 3; its North American statement says the CrossClimate 3 will not come to North America for “several years,” and the U.S. market will keep the CrossClimate 2 in the meantime.

What that means
  • The CrossClimate 3 was launched in Europe in July 2025.
  • In North America, Michelin’s wording indicates there is no near-term U.S. availability and no announced ETA.
  • For now, Michelin is steering U.S. buyers toward the CrossClimate 2 instead.

Yeah, from what i read they are engineered for Euro cars and driving conditions. Went on to say that if released here and now, drivers would be less than appreciative about the longevity and performance of the CC3.

Reasons for Michelin CrossClimate 3 Not Being Sold in the US
Different Market Priorities
Michelin has chosen not to sell the CrossClimate 3 (CC3) in North America for several reasons:

  • Performance Expectations: North American consumers typically expect tires to last longer, with mileage warranties of 60,000 to 70,000 miles. The CrossClimate 2 is designed to meet these expectations.
  • Driving Conditions: The driving styles and climate conditions in North America differ significantly from those in Europe. In Europe, there is a greater emphasis on wet braking performance and fuel efficiency, while North American drivers prioritize longevity.
Current Offerings
  • Continued Availability of CrossClimate 2: Michelin will continue to offer the CrossClimate 2 as their flagship all-weather tire in North America for the next several years. This tire has proven to be effective in various conditions, outperforming competitors in key areas such as dry braking and snow traction.
Future Considerations
  • Potential for a North American Version: While the CrossClimate 3 may eventually be introduced in North America, it is likely to be a different version tailored to meet local expectations for treadwear and performance.

The reviews on YouTube, some from Michelin, claim the CC3 meets or exceeds the CC2 on every metric. Seems like a slam dunk to bring it here.
