Hi all,
I've been lurking for a while and read many posts before ordering my 25. I went with XLT hybrid 4k tow, lux package, azure grey. I stayed right on budget and would up with a good (for the times rate) from a local credit union.
Thanks to the forum I ordered the tux mats floor liners despite not liking the way they looked in pictures and they are amazing in person.
So far I'm very happy with everything and don't find the interior as "cheap" as some say. I think it's a good value from r the utility that I'm picking up.
One one area of concern is the first tank fuel economy. I'm currently struggling to get more that 28 mpg overall and some sort trips are only like 17mpg. It's been below 20 since I picked it up so Ive also tried turning off the heated seats and steering wheel. I realize that the cold and winter gas affect fuel economy but I wasn't expecting sub 30 mpg with the seat and steering wheel turned off. I also drove quite conservative and achieved 98-100% Regen on every stop and try to pull away from lights with very little throttle.
So if anyone could chip in and ease my mind. Is this a break in thing? Maybe the MPG calculation is off from not even using it's first tank? I hope it gets better.
Further info would be that the truck has 150miles and my trips are currently about 20 miles with a few shorter trips to the gym and grocery store.
