Regarding this chessboard pattern. We had two versions of the design before. The first version did not have a chessboard pattern design. Are you satisfied with the side lights of this style?Everyone can make a choice.Which version would you prefer?

plain black looks better. the checkerboard looks cheap.

Installed mine today and noticed that the white does not come on if you have headlights in auto mode.

I just put mine in my 23XL Hybrid today. I always leave the default auto mode on and I believe the day time running lights do not come on until I put the truck in drive. Had my wife check and the white does come on when I did put it in drive, as do the day time running lights.

I chose to wrap one of the black inserts trying to match my truck's Atlas Blue. Close, but no cigar.
