Hello, I just installed the Maxzina door sill protectors and I am very happy with the product. The fit and finish was perfect it covered the highly scratchable interior door sill and the option for the matching exterior door sill coverage was welcomed. I appreciate the products that serve a purpose protecting areas of the interior and exterior and can't imagine if the aftermarket companies did not offer these great products. They allow us to decide what we feel is important about a product like in this case protection of the interior exterior while they also offer many products that enhance the look of your truck. I am looking forward to the lower door kick panel protectors coming out soon. Thank you to Maxzina and the other aftermarket companies, keep on innovating. Thank you for picking up where the manufacture left off or in some cases improving upon. Your truck your choice.

I installed them but doing the first one I realized more 3m tape would secure them better. I bought a roll and beefed up the “sticking area”. They do work wonders protecting that scuffable area .

Nice. Do these cover that area beside the sill between it and the seat?

In the back they do and front and back they protect anywhere your feet would hit the sill getting in or out. They do wrap around 3/4 of an inch.

I just ordered a set of these a couple days ago. I can see this is going to be a much needed mod already. Thanks for sharing your experience with them.

I installed the Maxzina Outer & Inner Door Sill Step Protectors. There is ten pieces that protect the painted metal door sills. I installed them last month and the only problem is the driver side needs more 3M tape as it is coming loose in the front inside corner.

I've been seriously considering these but was waiting for someone to post their experiences. I was worried the driver's side protectors which would get the most abuse might not stay down.

So for those that added more 3M tape did you just add more thin strips?

It’s only been about a month but mine are holding fine with only the supplied 3m tape.

Hello. Yes, I just installed mine and I am quite happy with them. They seem to cover the adequate area needed and we're easy to install.

Do they kind of stand out, or as if they belonged?

Thanks good to know!

The inner protector has more or less of a guide where to install it, but how did you figure out where exactly to install the outer one?

There are a couple YouTube videos out there, and they are very helpful. Also, the fit when you slide it back and forth before installing is a good guide.

I ordered wider tape than what was originally on it…
