Well, growing up in the 1950's only 4 miles from Ford World Headquarters in Michigan, I just wanted to be a COWBOY..
Here almost 70 years later I now own a 25 acre cattle ranch in the OLD WEST just 10 miles outside of Witicha, Kansas where legends like Wyatt Erp once roamed. My Herd of 8 Angus cattle isn't much, but I own more head of cattle than anyone else in my family!!. Most land too. a feat considering we only arrived in America 110 years ago.

I'm posting this.. I promoted my XL today..To the COWBOY EDITION . Via TEMU.com... I hope others will follow, or at least laugh at my folly. Remember in the 1960-70's Detroiters of questionable fortune, because Mustangs had hood scoops. Hood scoops appeared on all manner of other cars.. Sometimes you'd see 5-8 hood scoops. on trunk lids, front fenders and even roofs.. Not for me. but someone sold a bunch of screw on (maybe stick on) hood scoops.

This Temu.com badge is 82mm by 34mm or 1-3/8 by3-5/16... Sticky backed and was about $5-6 for the pair. Took 2 weeks o get them..
They also had an OLD MAN EDITION, I considered, but I want to be a cowboy when I grow up!!

I think it covers the LT just fine. As you can see my LT is no longer a plain LT.

I don't know how long they will last, but It's fun just posting this as everyone seems to want to make their Maverick unique.

That ‘Cowboy Edition’ is nice! Damn, 8 Angus cattle, with the price of beef here in Canada that’s worth $10 million! 😉

Quick update...

I ran the Maverick with the new COWBOY EDITION Badges through the automatic car wash. One with those big roller brushes running down both sides of the truck and a blow dryer at the end of the wash that is like wash from a jet plane.
All went well and the badges stayed in. So I'm a happy camper..

Just looked more closely at the original post...looks like the "Cowboy Edition" is overlaid on the original fender badge. I thought it was a new, custom, badge. Anybody know of a place to get custom fender badges?

I like your rims a lot, I grew up in the 40's and am still a fan of bright rims. What brand, size, and offset are they?

You are right for about $6 from Temu,com.. it's all us retiree's can afford in this Democrat regime maybe in 6 months life will be better and I won't have to eat road kill any more...

It just sticks on over the LT part of the badge... given labor costs - production, business insurance- government regulations, advertising..shipping warranty issues, tech support, and such.. No one in their right mind is going to make a side badge for under about $90...

Us poor "apple-at-ya" red necks... well we just can't afford a F-350 4x4...

I can only take the Maverick to church on Sundays. Rest of the week I drive my 2002 GMC 2500 Duramax. 233K on the odo. That I bought new and still it's my daily driver..

Love it … a few years ago, I created a “Yellowstone Edition” for a Subaru Outback, which had an airbrushed rainbow and a brown trout, one on each side.

Also as a young man, I spent a lot of time in your geography and loved it also … remembering the adage that there was a “pretty girl behind every tree” (just gotta find a tree!)
