Maverick welcomes Big Brother

I fell in love with our hybrid maverick. It’s still one of the best vehicles that I’ve owned for so many reasons. Drive it daily. Even on BFG Trail Terrains (factory size) we still get 42-47mpg in town! 30s all day on interstate. Can’t say enough positives for the Maverick. BUT…

still, I was missing our older (2004) F150. Just something about it. Ahh but wait… @Ford Motor Company now actually has another full-hybrid truck. And it’s a F150 PowerBoost! I couldn’t resist when I found a CPO barely used one near me.

Now have a beautiful 2021 KingRanch for our longer hauls and heavier duty applications. And getting 24mpg in a huge truck in city driving is pretty cool!

I hear ya, the price of these is nothing to sneeze at, that’s for sure! Our last F150 was in the family for 17 years so… fingers crossed this makes it to 2039 lol.

Omg these seats… it may have been the tipping point. We had looked at a Lariat, but then this shows up…. Heat/cooling/MASSAGING and full lay-flat seats. Amazing stuff.

No disrespect intended, but you are apparently easily amazed!!!! Perhaps I have my priorities in life in the wrong order. Perhaps too much sarcasm, but that happens with age and experience.

real "napa" leather. Real wood trim too like its 1990 again I cant knock the maverick seats, I actually love the cloth ones on our XLT.. and like all Ford's the heated seats get HOT
