That right there is what I hope to be doing with my 24 Maverick, eventually. (It is currently scheduled for production 16 October. And I won't afford the mods or trailer for a while.) Coming up on a year since I ordered, I've only had one glimpse of a Maverick here in Coastal Bend TX.

Trailer weight, auxiliary braking, mpg hit, average speed….questions abound?

Appears the rear suspension is weighted. Have you considered a remedy?
