Maverick Towing - Light issue

First time towing with the Maverick. Just picked it up about a month ago. Trailer running lights were always on and therefore there was no difference when braking or using the signals? Any idea on what could be the issue?

Need to check the wiring at the Mav connector. They make testers you can plug in and have someone push brakes, blinker, etc...

Thanks, will give that a try. All the lights work while in park but when in drive the running lights never turn off.
