How close is the order of our maverick coming or being built.

Your EcoBoost is probably being held up by dealer allocations. Many of us are in the same boat. Ford should run out of orders for the allocated EB orders soon and maybe build EB's regardless of allocations. Otherwise, they will use the capacity for fleets and retail stock orders. We can only hope Ford will build the orders waiting.

We did not order eco boost so figured we would get ours quicker. Ordered 2023 about a year ago.

If you ordered a Hybrid you are at the mercy of Ford's allocation system. Ford is short the capacity to build all the orders in MY2023. Talk to your dealer.

Just FYI - the Hybrid engine is the "standard" engine for the Maverick, according to Ford, despite the fact that they expected to build no more than 35% of Mavericks with that power plant...

Not that this brilliant information changes your situation in the least... Sigh. I would definitely have a conversation with your dealership.
