Maverick order lost

I order my 2022 maverick xlt cyber orange with the luxury package 08/03/21, I just got an email from Ford last week about delays building them. My question is, do you think I'll see this even in 2022 or what In the world is even going on?! I understand the chip shortage but man this is very frustrating
