I think if it was real shenanigans, they wouldn't have told you its in Canada, they'd just have they have no idea where it. I bet its just a railyard screwup where the wrong train car got hooked to the wrong engine.

I still wonder what happened to the customers whose Mavericks were involved with the train derailment in Kentucky. Those trucks were definitely damaged and I believe that in that instance they could not be sold. It wasn’t Fords fault however they were the first in line when the angry mob shows up.
Hopefully Ford put something together for them

I hope it's not misguided but I think they'll get their collective feces in one sock and figure it out. If it did go to Canada I will accept a bed full of bottled maple syrup and the rear seat stuffed with cases of maple sugar candy as recompense for the aggravation. Wilford here I come.
