Indeed. I’ve had it less than a month and getting 30 MPG so far. According to the computer. I will do my own calculation when I fill it back up in the next day or so. I take full advantage of the auto shut down at stop lights.

And 2nd place isn't even close. I noticed that 2nd place is a diesel too. Is that even a fair comparison? As far as price you pay at the pump goes, diesel is quite a bit more expensive around here. Third place is 23 MPG and on a good day I can get over double that, though it does tow one heck of a lot more than my Maverick ever will.

The main reason I bought a Maverick was the gas mileage. It also performs the functions I need such as hauling materials for the yard and the bed works great for transporting luggage (as long as you have a hard tonneau cover!) I see these guys in the huge trucks burning up dollars and I laugh!

My '23 Ecoboost FX4 tow package has gotten as much as 29.5 mpg for a full tank on highway runs. Not bad for not a hybrid truck!

I hauled 1100 pounds of gear for a fourth of july trip.

114°F

Air conditioner use only needed to be at "medium" 3 or 4 out of 7 blower speeds.

Freeway. Cruise control 70 in a 70 zone.

39.8 MPG calculated by hand at the pump. 40.x on the screen.

Imagine if Ford put a small diesel in the Maverick. Probably could get 80MPG.
