My XLT turn 1 yo this month. Has 4,000+ miles. Did oil change at ~1,500 miles. Had 2 recall done, now waiting on the next 2 (back up camera & wiper motor biz).

Otherwise, no major hic cups.
Thank you for being a part of the Ford family Herman!

At my advanced age, I have discovered many stupid things are being changed, seemingly solely for someone to justify their continued employment. So many useless changes in so many things.

They did not need to change the front of the Maverick, especially so minimally. It just causes problems, since Ford will not actually put out a "towed" package. I think that is the really stupid part from Ford. Design a vehicle, designate it as flat-towable, but then do absolutely nothing to create a method to actually tow it...and leave that to others. Ford had the engineering, and it would be at least as much of a money-maker for them as is a Spray-in Bedliner. Go figure.
Completely agree. There was no advantage to changing the Maverick's front end; only, as you pointed out, disadvantages. This was a "job justification" change in design.
