I guess you can call a Mustang a car, but did you ever try to put 2 grown adults in the back seats? A Porsche 911 also has rear seats so it isn't considered a sports car! (less expensive to insure)
I mean technically it is a car, tomato, tomàto 🤷‍♂️ my Camaro also has rear seats and 3 out of 4 have said it's surprisingly comfortable back there. Albeit one was my exes son lol and my nephew being the 1 who doesn't like it but he also could be a linebacker 😅 true tho that the main purpose of those back seats are for insurance purposes.

Congrats on the truck, definitely is in my opinion an awesome small truck. I enjoy reading through your comments as well as some of the others. As unpopular as this is going to be, I am on the other side of the coin in that I don't want to see them add more and more features to the vehicle. One of the main selling points of the Maverick was that it was an affordable new vehicle. Adding higher towing capacity, or changing the interior components to a higher quality, etc., all would continue to add to the price. I built/ordered my Maverick in 2023, today if I ordered the same vehicle with as close to the same package/specs the price is quite a bit more already. I feel like that is kind of how trucks got to the point they are pricewise, it was always well let's add this feature, and that feature, etc. I think they should just keep the Maverick as more of that low frills, more entry level vehicle and for those that want all those other features and more of a traditional truck with higher tow capacity etc., I think ford should market the Ranger that way. Just my opinion. Congrats again on the purchase and enjoy the Maverick!
I totally agree with you. I think most buyers of the Maverick, have another vehicle more SUV ish, for family use, and the Maverick is a "semi work vehicle" for running errands. That's why I bought mine, so my wife can't complain that I put crape in her Acura MDX!

My girlfriend does have a 2013 Ford Escape SE and since I had an Elantra I found that I was sending her to the home stores to pick up things for the house, as they don't fit in a small sedan 🤣 however since we've gotten the Maverick we usually take that instead of her Escape. 2 reasons being I prefer driving and her Escape has 278k miles and counting and she continues to drive it an hour and a half each way, to and from work M-F so it also gives her amd her vehicle a little reprieve from driving. Sidenote, we are shopping for a "newer" vehicle for her currently. She has decided it's between a 2021 Equinox LT AWD or a 2023 Ford Edge SE AWD. She just has to make up her mind before they get sold lol!
