Interesting to see the Maverick market turning quickly. Just at my small, local Ford dealer, there are a handful of Mavericks in stock and sitting on the lot, from an XL hybrid for $27K to a couple Lariat Tremors at $43K. Other than the XLs, all are currently listed below MSRP, and with 2025 Maverick order banks opening Aug. 1, there is no longer a frenzy to get these trucks.
Very soon -- like sometime in the next few months -- we will be looking at a situation where 2025s are beginning to hit dealer lots with leftover 24s still available. I think this is the official end of the road on Maverick inflation, now that Ford is finally producing and selling them in good numbers each month.
Interest rates are still awful, but all in all, it's probably a great time to be a Maverick shopper as we head into the tail end of summer and Labor Day weekend. Now, if only Ford would offer some decent incentive financing on Maverick...
