Consider not enough pressure on brake pedal. With foot on pedal without even trying to brake you may be switching creep mode on and off. In getting ready to brake I have to keep foot completely off pedal to prevent problems. If barely touching pedal while coasting and at less than 2-3 (guess) mph after several 4-7 (guess) seconds computer decides you really want to stop it will slam brakes on. I would guess you are experiencing creep-brake occilation. Turn auto hold on and take foot off brake completely?
Interesting idea, I will try that.

Seems like a better way to drive. That auto hold feature does feel A LOT more like an auto creep off button. You just have to push the brake pedal enough it's like you've clicked a button or clicked a computer mouse 🖱. I only just remembered to try it today so not a lot of testing.

Happens to me as well when the engine is on and brake hold / brake pedal and sitting at a light/stop sign etc.
