Making due without my Truck

Trying to get by with my Prius picking up 72 cinder blocks today over 5 trips. It is a hybrid and I do get 42MPG. She got the job done. I’m so glad Ford is working diligently to put higher profit trucks first over ours so we can keep doing crap like this. I realize 72 bricks would still be a couple trips in the truck but I wouldn’t have had an audience at Lowes each time. I’m pretty sure some one put me on their ticktock/or something.

Same for me I bought 5 of the same type of blocks at Lowes last weekend with the Prius c. Did the job.

I fail to see why. Worked perfectly fine. I’ve been doing stuff like this since I got it 6 years ago. At 15 cinder blocks (plus myself) I’m right around max payload.

Just one level: you presumably bought a Prius for either gas mileage, or environmental impact like carbon footprint etc., (you didn’t buy it for its looks) so you spend your time and gas making several trips loading cinder blocks. Cinder blocks have a huge carbon footprint! (In a Prius!) I’m not Mr. Environmental just a fan of Irony. (I think I just mansplained something)
