Interesting that it was stopped early LAST week and just announced. Didn’t Ford have a major investor report late last week as well.

Maybe they,Ford, thought that it would be a minor issue and they could continue with production relatively quick. But now being a week later they figured they might as well let everyone know about it.
It seems Ford is going to have a tougher time being the major e.v. producer that they want to be. This a bigger problem then them not producing our Maverick orders in a way that makes sense to us.

Wonder if this could be related to the "Rumored" constraint of the Maverick Hybrid battery being the reason for low production???

"Ford hasn’t said when production could restart or exactly what the issue is, but company officials pointed to a battery issue. That could include the batteries purchased from suppliers, battery-pack construction, or even battery-management software common on all EVs."
