Thank you and thank you to @MABETT for the contest and the prize. I rarely, if ever, win contests like this. Thus, it comes as a pleasant surprise.

What I didn't mention is that my Maverick is one of three in the family. My son has a 2023 Maverick XLT Hybrid and my daughter has taken over the 2024 Maverick XL Hybrid that we originally purchased for my wife.

I mention this because it will be interesting to see if I can retain it or if one of the kids will "steal it" for their Maverick. If so, I may buy one ore two more to ensure it is fair for both.

The seven-piece kit arrived today. I pulled it out between rain showers and installed it in my Maverick. I like it - neither of the kids will get a chance to claim it.

I will, however, show it to them at the first opportunity and purchase one if they like it.

If you look on aliexpress, you can find them. The Chinese manufacturer that made them for ford sells them. With shipping it’s like $130 or something. Was worth it to me.

Maybett should spend time and money getting their house in order. Twice I ordered a bed rail kit only to have arrive with missing parts and hardware. Twice was enough for me I went elsewhere. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.

For my 2023 Mav, it has been quite a journey. 3D tailgate lettering, tailgate damper, retractable bed cover, mud flaps, Mabett fender flares, hood deflector, Ford bed mat, wireless charging pad, wireless CarPlay, Carbon fiber accents, console safe, knob accents, window tinting. It’s been fun. Seat covers would be nice but we’ll see.

I got several of my requested upgrades for Christmas, but it’s so cold here (Pennsylvania) that I have to wait till the weather warms up before I can install some of them(60 deg is ideal). Santa gave me wheel lock nuts, hood edge guard, flared wheel well trim and mud flaps. I’ve installed the mud flaps already (really need them) and will switch out the wheel locks later. I’ll send pictures later.

Waiting for warmer weather is the smart move — cold installs can be frustrating. Mud flaps first makes total sense this time of year.
