So I received my fender flares last night from Amazon. Today I took them out of the box and gave them a thorough inspection. The plastic and the flare itself looks really good, the texture appears to be even, the edges are nicely finished, smooth with no flashing. The tape application needs addressed. Each flare had three or four places where the tape was too close to the edge, this will cause fitment and gap issues when putting on the vehicle. You will need to take an exacto knife and trim that tape back from the edge of the flare about 3/16 of an inch. You don't want any tape close to that edge that rides against the body. Hope this helps the next person that would like to get a clean, professional looking installation of these flares.

i thought about these but i've seen reports that the thickness of the foam adhesive tape they use leaves a small gap between the flare and metal body, allowing it to trap dirt which will eventually scratch up the paint there. are you finding this is the case?

I haven't installed them yet but the plastic itself looks pretty good. I'm thinking that any gaps is due to poor tape application. In a few spots the tape came all the way out to the edge of the flare. I'm guessing they need to train whoever's applying the tape to do a better job and maintain 3/16" distance from The edge all the way around. Almost all fender flares are applied in the same manner, push pins and tape. It's a dirt gets behind all of them.

Might be a good idea to put some PPF (paint protective film) on the fender before installing the flares. I considered adding flares to my Tremor but decided against it after seeing all the crud that accumulates underneath them. They do look good though. 😬
