See p317-319 in Manual; if you use a smart trickle charger as I have done, follow the these procedures (and reset the BMS) and your low battery issues may be
resolved. It appears mine have been. But just because AI allows something to be done does not mean it should be done. I believe "KISS" should be used in this and in all cases.

The BMS reset should only be used when installing a new battery. The fix is likely temporary.

Where in the manual does it say that?

Likely nowhere, since it's not the service manual.

Here's the blurb from the service manual:

Battery Monitoring Sensor
NOTICE: Unless the battery is being replaced, DO NOT reset the battery monitoring system using
the diagnostic scan tool. This reset is reserved for new battery installation only. This reset will
clear the learned battery data, the battery time in service, and will affect the aging algorithm
parameters, which have been learned since the installation of the battery.

I did not reset using the diagnostic scan tool. I used the method shown in the Manual after using an external smart battery charger to charge the battery. When I took my Mav to the Dealer to have the battery and charging system checked they also did a reset.
