Dealers also earn allocations on their sales so even if your dealer doesn't have any currently they will earn more based on recent sales.

When I went in to inquire about ordering my Tremor in late January 2024, the sales manager at the local Ford dealership told me that they had no more allocations, and that I'd probably be ending up with a '25. And yet, less than a month later I had received a build date (week of Apr. 1st) from Ford. So perhaps being out of allocations isn't the hurdle it once was.

I'd be looking for another dealer by now--in Charlotte, Cola or anywhere in the Carolinas. I ordered an EB XLT in October last year and got it a month ago. I don't know why yours should be taking so long, unless there's something particularly unusual about the XL trim combined with CP360.

I've ordered an XL All Wheel Drive back on September 17th. I talked to my local Ford dealer yesterday and they said right now only XLT's being built. So, I'm right at six months and nothing but crickets from Ford.

The dealer, a small town type who doesn't usually BS, made the point that mine may slip into '25 model year.

My dealer (Reineke) in Tiffin Ohio currently has 3-4 new Mavericks for sale on the lot. I’m told they were customer orders that the person turned down due to life changes. If you call the dealership just ask for Shaun.
