At 60 I try to keep the "electric" blue bar almost full, but it bleeds off speed fairly quickly.

In my opinion, it should be able to maintain constant speed in electric with a 1-3% incline. Of course as long the battery charge can maintain that.

What it is capable of and what it is software limited to are two different things. And of course the HV battery is very small.

On steep "humps" going over a canal, or a steep hump overpass going over a freeway, I can do it in all electric. I can even pull a heavy trailer uphill in all electric. (Keep it in normal mode)

If speed is like 5 to 15 mph only.

The torque is there. The battery power isn't and there is a conservative software setting. You only get about 22 horsepower in all electric mode.

But just think, one or two REAL horses could pull your truck uphill; at walking speed.

That’s really cool! I had no idea. It would be nice to see that information. Might have to be a birthday present to myself.

There are lots of less expensive options out there - although what they monitor will vary - so be careful to check what data is available.
