Longer payload / bed extender ideas???

I have finished all my major renovations so the main function of my new truck will be daily driving and occasionally carting the grands…
I do expect to piddle from time to time. Any ideas for hauling items longer than the bed w/tailgate down??
Something easily removed and stored.
