Hi folks!
This site has been incredibly valuable from the moment I started even considering a Maverick (which was a while ago). Finally made it happen and picked up my 2025 Lariat Hybrid with 4k tow in Ruby Red. I know it's the honeymoon period, but just love this thing.
It's replacing a great 2016 Outback 2.5; my son is inheriting that as he's turning 16 soon. The OB spent 31k of its 132k miles pulling our Aliner Classic camper all over the US and Canada. The Mav is going to take over that role and I expect it to do that really well. I also have a decent little maple syrup operation with a couple sets of remote trees, so it'll spend plenty of time hauling sap. My commute to work is going to get longer in a year and a half; and this vehicle checked the most boxes (by far) to meet our needs.
Love seeing how people are customizing their trucks and will get there in no time on mine. Hope I can contribute a little bit to this place to pay back what I've learned.
