Lobo at The Dragon.

Took the annual trip with the boys to the Dragon this past week. Great trip as always. No one crashed and no tickets. First time road tripping the Mav with the bike in the back and it did just fine. Its only a 400lb load so it really shouldn't make a difference.

While I was there it rained for the first time in 10 years of going, so I took the opportunity to drive up to Deals Gap and run the truck up and down the Dragon. This thing is surprisingly capable. The tires could be better, but they're not terrible by any means. The AWD really does rotate the truck nicely. It would be fun to run this on a track to explore the limits, vs staying in the safe zone on public roads with narrow margins. Just solidified my liking of this truck a little more.

Going to the Miatas at the Gap at the beginning of August is now an annual thing for me. Was impressed this year with the number of Mavericks running around that area. To be honest, it's a perfect truck to be able to do actual truck stuff AND have fun in the twisties! Mine pulls my Miata from Minnesota beautifully. Great truck!

How much does your trailer weigh? An FC is about 2400 lbs so you're probably good up to 1300 lbs or so ...

How much does the Miata and Trailer weigh together? I'm guessing you have the 4K tow package?

Yes, 4K tow package. Trailer is an Aluma Trailer 7814R that weighs in at 1,100 pounds. With the Miata aboard total weight is about 3,500 pounds.
