I've got an XL eco with a build date. I finally feel close enough to buy some accessories for when it arrives. I have picked up a lot of good pointers along the way but wanted to know about smalls I may not be thinking of. Particularly items that kind of seem like they should have come with even the XL.

- Two side storage bins for the bed sides
- Organizer tray for the center console
- Phone holder for the cubby next to screen
- Mudd flaps
- Floor mats
- Center console for the rear seat passengers
- Tiny jumper / USB / inverter for rear passengers
- Dashcam with rearview. Mounting rear view top rear of cab for view of loads in bed and blindspots coverage.

Any other small conveniences I'm gonna think "why didn't that come standard" when it arrives?
Wife got me weather tech floor mats. Pricey but worth it.

First thing I do to most new vehicle purchases......add a 3" stick-on frog eye mirror to each side mirror. When you get used to the expanded field of view these offer, you'll never do without.

I agree that Convex mirrors should be standard on all vehicle. Every vehicle has a blind spot on both sides. I get the small ones at Walmart and a pair is less than three dollar.

Nah, I go full tilt and get the kind that mounts outside the truck. This will also give my view of my cargo as if I'm riding on top of the cab.
Oh that. Yeah I want one of those as well. My buddy’s Bronco has outdoor cameras that are pretty cool that make it appear like you’re looking at an aerial view of it.

Personally, I think the one item you need the most is one of the Maverick Truck Club decals so you can properly "represent" when you get your new ride.

Two styles/sizes (slightly) are available:
Ohio - Maverick Truck Club Decal (Glossy) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($5 delivered)

Ohio - Maverick Truck Club Decal (Transfer) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($6 delivered)

They are in my hands ready to send out immediately. Hope you will take a look and if interested purchase one (or more!)

Thanks for considering. and congrats on getting (or nearly so) your Maverick. I've had mine for nearly 18 months now and absolutely love it.

I pull a small camper. I'm adding mud flaps for two reasons. First, the front of my camper when I tow it gets covered with dirt and mud and pelted with stones without them. That's a pain to clean. Second, if you run wider tires that stick out beyond the wheel wells, your lower body takes all the crap. Had to add them to my Bronco Sport as the front of my camper was getting trashed. Put on the Weathertech flaps and it eliminated most of the problem. They covered the width of my 235 tires nicely. I'm pulling a camper. I won't notice a minimal difference in mileage. Adding them to my Maverick.

I got this at Amazon. It's a lot better than the one you plug into the cigarette lighter. It charges up, holds the charge, and topping off all four tires with 4 to 5 lbs doesn't use much of the battery. I keep it stored in the bed cubby. It would be nice if it came with a case (it's got a nice bag), but I put it in a gallon-size zip-lock, just in case of water intrusion. I never knew I needed it until I got one, but that cargo net in the bed has been so nice to have.

TBH though, I try to minimize the amount of $20 cheap items I get off Amazon. Dividers are nice and unfortunately on these smaller vehicles it seems like they all need some sort of center console storage, but the rest I try to avoid because it's just wasted money if I don't keep the vehicle. Shipping costs pretty much consume any amount you would get from resale on that stuff where I live. I already went overkill with the exterior stuff too. Any new vehicle now days it seems like you need to budget another $2k to accessorize and "protect".

Those are nice but here are some things you might find useful. An additional truck bed cubby for the left side, bed cover (I bought the SyneticUSA retractable cover from Truck2Go), I added wireless charging using a 3D printed part from Etsy, leather steering wheel cover, Mabett fender flares, CarLinkit wireless CarPlay, seat covers, knob enhancements (I'll show pictures), hood struts and spring, and tailgate damper.

I forgot the spring to help with the hood struts. I just installed the spring which helps the hood open better otherwise the struts can make it difficult to open the hood. Most of my upgrades were bought on Amazon. Have fun!
