Dang dude! I am way behind you when it comes to putting some "bling" in my Maverick! I am impressed to say the least!!
Being retired and having a big shop (with heat) really helps. Motorhome is in shop, but it is only 40 ft. Shop is 75 ft and attached to my garage side of house. It can be like therapy out in the shop, especially when I get in a high state of "pisstivity" , like when I dropped a tool into bottom of engine bay and had to remove all the crap underneath to retrieve it. Ha!

I can relate. I have always tinkered on my cars. Always adding something. It is good therapy. Plus, the end results are always worth it.

I figured after owning truck for about 3 months now and participating in several post, time to post some pics of what I have done to the truck. ALL of these mods were idea's I stole from tis site, so thank you to those who were the first to attempt these. (BETA testors)!

1. Side marker and turn signals. One of my favorite and look nice!
2. All bulbs changed out to Lasfit LED's. (had to get the newer T3 series after the software update) but all fine now.
3. Tonneau Cover I had Ford add on at the dealer. Ultra Flex by Under Cover, I think same one as Realtruck sells. Expensive, but worth it.
4. Bumper /hitch cover. Covers up the big empty space. and added my own 7 pin trailer connector. Tapped into 4 pin and tucked away the remaining three wires for future use if need be.
5. Led lighting in bed and also added 2X6 bed dividers.
6. Dash mat. Keeps it much cooler in hot summer heat and fits very well. Bought this from local FORD dealer.
7. MRT Hood struts. Like them, they work just fine... but, the hood is about 5 inches lower and can be a head knocker. Not sur I will keep them, the rod was ok.
8. Ford brand mud guards front and rear.
9. Husky floor mats! Love them, have had them in all my vehicles since around 1994. Pretty blue sill plates for all doors. Put in my own accent lights, fron and back footwell area's so wife and I can see when we drop crap on the floor. These, or something similar should be stock from the factory.
10. Kia mirror install! Another one of my favorites as I hate those garage door remotes that end up under the seat after falling off the visor!
VIOFO dash cam install. Took it out of my Tundra.
11. Battery tender hookup. Just plug it into the hidden wire that you reach in by the grill and pull it out. Takes 20 seconds total. No dead batteries, I keep one on every car I have had for the last 20 years. I know this is my first hybrid and may be different, but it is not unusual for me to get 6-7 years on a battery and I have gotten 9 out of one on my old Jeep LJ.
12. Led rope light under front hood. Kind of cool looking I think, especially when it does it's dance when starting up!

Will now try to post pictures. Hope this site takes HEIC Iphone format photo's! Thanks to all of you for the advice, and information. I do like this new truck. Not a Tundra, but then I'm not pulling any 8,000 plus trailers around anymore, so the son now has that for his work.

Sorry, no photo's for now as this site doesn't like iphone format apparently. Will convert iphone pics to JPG when I get time and post them.
Hi, Do you have a link or can tell us where you bought the side marker turn signal lights?

Started with pulling the XLT piece off the truck. Use something, tape is hat I used or a piece of foam so you don't scratch the paint. Pops off pretty easy, just go slow and careful. In then drilled a small hole to accommodate these small LED bulbs. I ran with these on truck for a few days waiting for the lenses. I used heavy duty 3M double sided tape and put as much on each lens as the space would allow. Speed limit here is 80 and no problems. Here are the links:

The "kid" making these is "Tad". Uses a 3d printer and they are pretty nice. Took a few extra days to get them as I ordered during the holidays and he was enjoying some off time then, but not a huge delay, maybe 2-3 weeks. I'll bet faster delivery now maybe. He was quick about returning emails. Good luck.

Hi Jason! I got my mirror about a month ago from Brogdens Ford in Olathe Kansas. Parts department, talked to a guy called "FISH". (913) 390-6800. It was about $23 bucks but the shipping was extra, I think $24. All total under $50 Nice guy there said he had about 8 of them just sitting on a shelf. Hope this helps you out!
Thanks, Sarge! Called and talked to 'Mike Hess' who says "We're gettin' calls from all over about this mirror and they're goin' fast!"

Hey Dean, I need to watch my spelling as this site changes things for you whether you like it or not. The guy who has those lens side markers name is TY, not Tad. Let me know if you need any other info.

Hey Top!

Did you make your own wiring harnesses for those LEDs in the side markers?
I think I know how you pieced them together. Could you post a picture of the backside of the side markers?

thank you

Yes, just had a roll of triple wire with a black and a red and a yellow. Butt splice onto the three wires off the led side markers. Made sure to use waterproof connectors, the kind you melt with my bbq lighter. I put it all together on my work bench, then installed back into the cavity on the truck. Make sure you have enough length to get to where you are hooking up to. I attached wires to ground on frame area, you can see a couple blue ring connector ends in the photo. Ford has a bundle of grounds on these two spots, so good enough for us also! I ran the red hot wire down to the drivers side marker so the side markers are working whenever park or headlights are on. The yellow, I ran to the blinker. Double check this wiring document I sent. I got it off this site and I can't remember if it is the correct one, but I think it is. Maybe someone else can chime in. I went out and looked at my wiring, but it is all covered up and sealed, so can't see which wire on turn signal light I hooked to. If you do like I did and use the side marker light it is easy. Pop that side marker off with plastic tool (put tape or sponge or something against paint so you don't scratch it. That marker should be pried from the drivers (the back rear side) side of it, not the curved portion. The curved portion sets in a groove. Comes out pretty easy. Also, when you drill hole for the LED, don't get too close to the top edge because if you do you will have to enlarge the hole on the back of the new lens cover so it will fit over it. I had to do that with my dremel. Not hard to do but would have been easier to just have drilled the hole a tad lower so lens just fit over it. When you get the lens you will see what I mean. I had the hole drilled before I got the lens is where I made that mistake, but no big deal to correct by widening out the back of the new lens.
