Have searched and searched some more. Am told there is no market for lighted electric running boards for Maverick because they already are so low. As for me I would be in the market just because I think it would look great and for those, such as my wife with hip issues, raising her leg to easily get in, as well as others with similar issues do to age, illness, accident etc etc etc. Also, with the Maverick continuing to be so popular, with more and more sales, it would seem the more buyers the more potential that electric lighted or just electric running boards would have a profitable niche, especially for the first to put it into production. Anybody know of such a product being designed or intended to be designed ?

Only powered running boards for the Maverick I'm finding are these on Amazon or Ebay (multiple listings, same pictures). China brand. Questionable quality. The pictures don't even show them mounted to a Maverick so who knows if they actually inspected one for good mounting points.

Lights can be added later. On the running boards, under the truck, etc.

Concerning regular nonelectric running boards came up same questionable quality findings and ditched that idea. Went to a custom manufacture here in Santa Clarita, CA, to see what it would take for them to make a set of lighted electrical running boards: was way, way, over my budget and then there was no guarantee it would only be way, way, way over.... could be more depending on how much time it actually took etc. etc. Think it will be only a matter so time so will wait and see.
