So I am looking to upgrade the cluster on my xlt. I read it’s a simple plug and play. I have the hybrid so I know I have to order that version of the cluster. Other than changing mileage is there anything else I need to do. (Other then convert back to as built before swapping so it is from scratch) saw a post talking about hill decent but there mentioned fx4 also also so I don’t think that pertains to me.

I thought about that also but read that some had issues with like the fuel level and cc and not being able to change drive modes.

FWIW, I own an Escape Titanium hybrid and a Mav Lariat hybrid. I like my Mav a bunch but if I had to choose between the Escape dash and the Lariat dash I'd take the Escape any day. That's just me. And since that dash started in MY 2020 for the Escape there are likely more available out there and as @RONR11 said above, probably much cheaper.

I gotta say that Escape display is a lot better looking than my 2024 Maverick Hybrid with its very fragmented and elusive bunch of small displays!

It is for sure better than the 2025 Maverick... Very frustrating that you have to fiddle with the displays every time you start up as it never saves the last used. Also you end up with a bunch of little displays to peer at instead of a well planned display. Sad they couldn't engineer a better solution for a great little truck!
