Interesting that NY state gives you up to EIGHT characters! You can get pretty creative with that many. Ohio used to be limited to SIX, then a decade or so they expanded it to SEVEN. My son's 2016 Lariat ...........................

I didn't realize that other states had less until you pointed that out lol! That's a good plate nice background on it too

Putting the license plate reveal aside for the moment, I'd like to get some clarification on your comment about wishing the Lariat came with FWD. All hybrid models were ONLY available with FWD until 2025 when Ford offered the hybrid with AWD. Even with AWD, the hybrid stll offers superior mileage over the EB trucks. Of course, the trade-off is power and until 2025, towing capacity.

I almost never tow anything (probably been 6 years), but i do a ton of low speed stop and go at work (26 acre apartment community). While AWD may not rob much for fuel efficiency, jt isnt zero, and i was more concerned wjth the best possible MPG. If they made a plug in hybrid Maverick, I would have bought that.

Understood. The FWD is no slouch in the gripping department, but if slippery or snowing roads are common in your area and one needs more towing, then the AWD hybrid is a good choice. Either way, hard not to love the Maverick.

Seriously. I never thought I would own another truck after the OG Ranger went away, but my friend's 2 Mavs (release year - totalled last year, and now his 2025) have spent the last several years growing on me.

This is hands down my favorite vehicle so far!

I've owned a wide variety of vehicles in my years, '55 Chevy, Jeep, Toyota, BMW, Mazda, Chevy Colorado, Oldsmobile to name a few, but I have to agree, the Maverick is the best of the lot in terms of how it fits my lifestyle at this time in my life. It does many things well and better than most.
